Brief description of the building:
Construction of the Rovinj City Swimming Pool in Rovinj as a replacement building within the Orthopedic Hospital prim.dr. Martin Horvat Rovinj. The building’s floor plan dimensions are 78.58 m x 36.77 m and consists of two expansion joints. Building area 5,417 m2, water area 990 m2. The facility consists of a basement floor where the complete mechanical equipment of the pool is located, the ground floor where there is an Olympic pool with bleachers, a therapeutic pool with salt heated water, sanitary facilities, changing rooms, wellness, offices, reception with a hall, etc. and the 1st floor where there is a gallery, sanitary facilities, hairdressing rooms and other facilities for various purposes. A road with a parking lot has been built within the pool. The structure of the building is reinforced concrete and steel. A complete roof of expansion D1 with a span of 36 m was made with a steel structure. In total, about 150 tons of steel structure with AKZ and fire protection were installed.
The supervisory team consisted of 5 engineers, civil, electrical and mechanical engineers.
