Short Description of the Building:
The construction of Hotel Plaža 4+* in Duće nearby Omiš. The building area amounts to 12,364 m2. The hotel has 106 accommodation units distributed inside three mutually connected buildings by glass passageways. The hotel has an underground garage, indoor swimming pool with wellness and outdoor swimming pool with the total area of ca. 200 m2, a restaurant, bar, etc. The building includes basement, lower and ground floor and 14 floors. The building has reinforced concrete structure with wide panels. The project required sizeable geo-mechanical works used to excavate 30,000 m3 of material, 9.50 km of geo-mechanical anchors were installed and 3,500 m2 of shotcrete protection.
The supervisory team included 8 (civil, mechanical, electrical and geodetic) engineers and architects.
The project was partially funded by grants from the EU Funds.
